The City of Light

«Media Dome» and «Neuro-symphony» works in the framework of the «City of Light» festival 2024.

The Forum-festival is the Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030 is a large-scale project that combines the latest achievements of Moscow in various fields. One of its most striking events was the City of Light Festival, which was attended by dozens of digital artists from Russia and abroad. Multimedia studio formate presented 2 works: Media Dome and Neurosymphony.

Media Dome
The concept of an interactive media dome is that abstraction is one of the oldest and limitless ways to convey the author’s sensual and emotional background in a style unique to him. Using the touch panel, the user could choose the style of one of the famous abstract artists and see his AI generation in real time
on the dome’s media facade using pre-generated effects.

Neurosymphony
For the performance of the orchestra with the most famous works of classical music, the unifying concept of «Nature» was invented. Each piece of music was correlated by mood and color scheme with a specific natural, physical phenomenon, on the theme of which the content was generated. So, the performance was a journey through natural phenomena, which were metaphors of internal emotional states. The content for the concert was generated in real time using a neural network, in the form of various shapes and images flowing into each other, which reacted to the incoming audio signal.
